Well here we are in La Fe, things are goin pretty good, my comps dope, the other missionaries in the apartment building are dope, and La Fe is dope, and the ward is dope.
Another week here in Adrogué C4. Thats legitimately what my areas called. Freakin dope. Anyway, this week we found some more people to teach. This Sunday was national voting here in Argentina, which is mandatory, so we couldn´t get anyone to church.
So I was gunna take some pics of the pension, but I forgot too. Maybe after we clean it a little bit. So, sorry mom, no pics today! Have a good week!
Well, this week went by super quick and it was a pretty solid week, even though on thursday we had a zone conference and activity and me and my comp got there about an hour and a half late and he kinda hurt his leg in the activity. So its been interesting since then, but we got there late cuz we barely missed the train, then my comp knew how to get there in bus, but we wouldve had to take like 3 buses, we went anyway, then realized, after taking the first bus, that it probably wasnt gunna work that well, so we went to the nearest train station to where we had gotten off, and the train took awhile to get there. But we were finally on our way. We get there, and we had to switch trains and take a super old dope one, that took forever to get there of course, then we werent sure where to get off, so we ended up gettin off 1 station early and walking the rest of the way to the stake center of a different stake. So that was a blast. but we made it finally, had the meeting, went super well, then we played soccer with a bunch of other missionaries.
So last Monday we had a district activity where Elder Gonzalez made tacos and then we played soccer. We had some members come and we did not take any pictures haha. It was pretty fun though.
Well this week we did intercambios (comp exchanges) and me and a short Chilean named González went to this area outside of our area where a ton of people from Paraguay come and build their houses. It`s a lot more humble, so we`re gunna start working there way more. We found a big family to teach and talked to a bunch of other people that seem prepped. Also it`s not mapped out very well in the pensh, so I`ve been trying to get ubicated (thats spanglish, idk how to explain it, just use context clues) by writing down and drawing every street we find up there (it`s at the end of our area) so we`re gunna be able to leave that behind for the next Elders, other than the large amounts of Paraguayos that will be gettin baptized as we keep heading up there.
Well the paraguayan who came to church way too late came way too early this sunday so we were kinda bummed about that, hes super awesome.
The system for reimbursements broke down so we might not have anything but personal money for food and travel for a couple days. kinda sucks cuz im running out but i dont wanna ask my companion to use his money. We spent a lot of time at a lot of different banks for him to finally withdraw some money his family had sent him. Hes from very humble beginnings. But to celebrate his being able to withdraw the money we went to a huge buffet on our way home from visa jenk. Id send pictures but its not havin it today. So more stuff for next week haha.
Were gunna focus on family home evenings this week, because the members are excited to work, the investigators and whatnot are willing to and need to become friends with the few members we have, and so were just gunna start throwing them together in the house of whoever we can. Pretty excited.
This last week we were able to work alot, but its been extra freezing cold lately so its been a little more of a sacrifice haha. Also despite the cold more people are out on the street at night, so my companion hasnt been sleeping well. Just impressive the amount of children and whatnot walking outside our pension like its a summer day.
I invite you all to enjoy the summer! Especially the heat! And also the chance to have family home evenings!
Transfers this week! Were stayin here! Both me and Elder Gonzales arent changing a bit, which I´m pretty glad for. I didnt want to move or leave Las Flores just yet. To celebrate we ate 2 big ol pizzas on the roof of our neighbors house. Pictures attached (i hope).
